THE TRUE WORD

Contingent upon nothing!  God’s Word does not comply

To sophisticated finesse or try to pacify

The arrogance of fledglings who claim to know it all,

Who trip on that stumbling block where Christ is all in all!

.

.

He is certainly a good man!  But then how could that be?

For was He not a liar in His claim to Deity?

Liar or good man?  Neither one for He was (is) God!

All His words and works proved that He was Lord of Lords!

.

.

King of Kings, who, in His love, proved true majesty!

Dying on the cross for all, setting captives free!

“A prophet, like, Mohammed…” oh please, give me a break!

“Mohammeds’ bones are on display.”  So Jesus was a fake?

.

.

Our Savior left the tomb complete, ascended to the throne!

“I go to my Father,” He said, and He was not alone.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the Three in One, all there!

The Blessed Trinity!  One God, the fairest of the fair!

.

.

Miracle of miracles, completeness, blest Trinity!

God gave His Son, Jesus died, the Spirit comes to me.

Look about you, miracles!  In everything you see!

And you will see another in God’s Eternity!

.

.

(“Who (Jesus) for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross;

despising the shame, and is now at the right hand of God,”)

MOTHER, FATHER, EARTH

Mother Earth lures me, draws me but not to herself

To her Creator!

.

Not incredibly I am drawn by the one true thought

To one true mother!

.

Mary, though a virgin, through mortal pain mothered

The Man, Christ Jesus.

.

Distinctive as a Man and sinless as true God

He came to free us!

.

A mystery?  True!  Look about, what is not mysterious?

Can you name one tree,

.

One flower, one animal, one fossil, one insect,

One star, or one galaxy?

.

That is not surrounded by mystery?  Then how about

One you and one me?

.

I cannot boast a clone nor can you, nor do I care

For another one,

.

Of me to dredge the depths, or scale the heights, or even

Dream of things I have done!

.

But for the consummative, the unthinkable,

See this mystery:

.

The Kings of Kings, The Lords of Lords!  Designer!  Creator!

One who died for me!

.

.

Oh God, I thank You!

.

.

Most sincerely,

BY INVITATION ONLY

In the beginning God – not gods!

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

No lesser gods He created us!

“In His image,” but from the dust.

We stumble and fall at His creation

We deliberately fall every nation

Proclaiming gods persistently

God’s that we can feel, smell and see!

Face it! We just worship ourselves!

We place our pictures on our shelves!

We serve whom? Ourselves every day!

“No, we worship God!” That is what we say.

We worship God! Do I fool myself?

Whose picture is that on that shelf?

I am in His image, I left that tree!

I pamper myself, my God is me!

How do I contradict this sham?

Only God says, “I Am that I Am!”

So what can I say in view of this?

Only that ‘Ignorance is bliss!’
